Sam (Om Puri) is a wealthy, successful businessman in Calgary who is fiercely overprotective of his only daughter, Pakhi (Sakshi Shivanand). Convinced that no man could ever love or care for her as much as he does, Sam dreads the day she will marry and leave him. His world is upended when Pakhi falls for Samar (Priyanshu Chatterjee), a suspended police officer on a mission to track down a criminal. Despite Sam's persistent efforts to find flaws in his daughter's suitor and prevent the union, the film explores the emotional journey of a father learning to let go and accepting a newcomer into his family's heart.
