Aftermath

Inspired by the real-life Überlingen mid-air collision, Aftermath follows Roman Melnyk, a construction foreman whose life is shattered when his wife and pregnant daughter perish in a tragic plane crash. Simultaneously, air traffic controller Jacob "Jake" Bonanos faces a downward spiral of guilt and trauma as he is held publicly responsible for the disaster. While Jake attempts to start a new life under an assumed identity, Roman becomes consumed by a singular, obsessive need for an apology. Their lives inevitably collide in a somber exploration of grief, accountability, and the devastating consequences of a search for vengeance that offers no true closure.
