Avihitham

Set in a small rustic village in northern Kerala, a drunken man walking home at night catches a fleeting glimpse of a local flour mill worker locked in a romantic embrace with an unidentified woman near a neighbor's house. Convinced of an illicit affair, his gossip spreads like wildfire, prompting a group of nosy neighborhood men to launch a comical and relentless investigation into the woman's identity. Their misguided moral policing and voyeurism soon spiral out of hand, unearthing hidden domestic tensions while holding up a satirical mirror to patriarchal judgment and small-town hypocrisy.
