Set in the vibrant streets of Lucknow, Behen Hogi Teri is a romantic comedy that explores the awkward social tradition where boys are expected to treat the girls in their neighborhood as sisters. Shiv "Gattu" Nautiyal has been hopelessly in love with his neighbor, Binny Arora, since childhood, but he lives in constant fear of being "brother-zoned" by the community and her family. When Binny's elder brother mistakes her friendship with Gattu’s best friend for a romance, an arranged marriage is quickly set in motion with a different suitor.
