Bicchugatthiya Bantana Ballirena

Set against the backdrop of the Western Ghats during the closing years of India's independence movement, the film follows Kaala, an oppressed young man struggling relentlessly for land, identity, and basic human dignity against an indifferent landlord and deeply entrenched caste discrimination. Drawing thematic inspiration from classic social realism, the narrative chronicles Kaala’s quiet despair turning into unyielding defiance as systemic suppression threatens his family and pushes him past his endurance, culminating in a fierce rebellion where his sickle and ancestral drum become the sole instruments of his suppressed rage.
