After a disastrous blind date at Hooters, single parents Jim Friedman and Lauren Reynolds hope to never see each other again. However, through a series of coincidences involving a shared vacation package, they both end up at the same luxury African safari resort with their respective children. Forced to share a suite and participate in numerous "blended familymoon" activities, the two families initially clash but eventually begin to bond. As Jim helps Lauren’s sons with sports and Lauren helps Jim’s daughters embrace their femininity, the two parents find themselves unexpectedly falling for one another in a heartwarming journey of second chances.
