Bombay To Bangkok follows the misadventures of Shankar, a struggling chef in Mumbai who steals a bag of money from a local gangster to settle his debts. To escape the consequences, he poses as a doctor and joins a medical relief team heading to Bangkok, Thailand. Upon arrival, he loses the money and falls for Jasmine, a Thai woman who works at a massage parlor by night and volunteers by day. Despite a significant language barrier and the pursuing mobster's son—an aspiring rapper—Shankar must navigate a chaotic web of lies and cultural misunderstandings to recover his loot and win Jasmine's heart.
