Book of Love

The film follows Henry Copper, an uptight English author whose romance novel has flopped — until it unexpectedly becomes a hit in Mexico. Arriving there for a promotional tour, he later discovers the reason: his Spanish translator Maria has re‑written his book into a steamy, passionate version without his knowledge. While initially outraged, Henry must tour Mexico with Maria to capitalise on the newfound popularity — and along the way their professional clash blossoms into romance as they each come to appreciate the other’s voice and vision.
