In a misguided attempt to navigate the sudden vacuum of their love lives, lifelong best friends and polar opposites Jonesie and Sid decide to move in together after both are dumped by their girlfriends at the same time. Dubbing themselves "bromates," the duo enlists the help of their eccentric pals, Angry Mike and Runway Dave, to help them cope with heartbreak through a series of increasingly wild and juvenile escapades. As they transition from wallowing in misery to chasing new romantic interests—including a redneck beauty queen—the group finds themselves in a string of hilariously absurd and life-threatening situations that test the true limits of their friendship.
