Cars 2 is the 2011 sequel to Cars by Pixar, in which racecar Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater take their adventures overseas for the first‑ever World Grand Prix, a global racing event meant to showcase the fastest cars from around the world. While Lightning aims for racing glory, Mater gets unintentionally involved in international espionage when he meets spy car Finn McMissile and British agent Holley Shiftwell, who are investigating a plot involving a mysterious fuel called Allinol and villainous “lemon” cars planning sabotage.
