Dark Nuns

Dark Nuns is a 2025 South-Korean supernatural horror thriller about two nuns — Sister Junia (Song Hye-kyo) and Sister Michaela (Jeon Yeo-been) — who embark on a forbidden exorcism ritual to save a young boy, Hee-joon (Moon Woo-jin), possessed by a powerful evil spirit. As the established church and a skeptical priest-psychiatrist (Lee Jin-wook as Father Paolo) balk at supernatural intervention, the two nuns defy orders, risking their faith and souls. The film explores themes of faith versus science, sacrifice, and desperation, as the boundary between divine salvation and spiritual horror blurs.
