About Dual
Set in a near-future society where cloning is a standard service for the terminally ill, Sarah (Karen Gillan) opts for a "Replacement" to spare her family the grief of her passing. However, after her clone has already integrated into her life, Sarah discovers she has made a miraculous and total recovery. Under strict government law, two versions of the same person cannot coexist; since her clone refuses to be decommissioned, Sarah is forced into a court-mandated, televised duel to the death. To prepare for the fight of her life, she enlists the help of a rigorous combat trainer (Aaron Paul) in this darkly comedic and deadpan satirical thriller.
