Eden

Based on the bizarre real-life events of the 1929 European settlers on Floreana Island in the Galápagos, the film follows idealistic German doctor Friedrich Ritter (Jude Law) and his partner Dore Strauch (Vanessa Kirby) as they abandon civilisation for a utopian life, only to have their hopes unravel when new settlers arrive—among them the ambitious Wittmer family (Daniel Brühl and Sydney Sweeney) and the hedonistic Baroness Eloise (Ana de Armas).
