F.A.L.T.U (Fakirchand and Lakirchand Trust University) is a coming-of-age comedy that critiques the rigid Indian education system through the lens of four friends who are deemed academic failures. Unable to secure admission to any college due to their low grades, the group creates a fake university to appease their strict parents. However, their plan takes an unexpected turn when hundreds of other "rejected" students apply and show up at the campus. Realizing the weight of their responsibility, the group transforms the sham institution into a legitimate alternative school that focuses on nurturing individual talent and passion over rote learning and grades.
