From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is a spin‑off in the John Wick universe that unfolds between John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023). The story follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), whose father is killed by a secretive cult. She is taken in by the Ruska Roma, an assassin society masquerading under the guise of performance dance, where she trains as both a ballerina and a killer. As she comes of age, Eve returns to carry out her first mission of vengeance, encountering familiar faces from the John Wick world including John Wick himself, Winston, Charon, and others, while navigating dangerous loyalties and uncovering hidden threats within the underworld.
