I Am Kalam

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Rajasthan, I Am Kalam tells the heart-stirring story of Chhotu, a quick-witted and impoverished boy who works at a roadside dhaba to support his family. Inspired by a news clip of the former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Chhotu renames himself "Kalam" and vows to transform his destiny through education. Along the way, he forms an unlikely and forbidden friendship with Ranvijay, the lonely young prince of a local royal family, as they both navigate the boundaries of class and tradition.
