Inspired by the real-life 2022 hostage crisis at an Apple Store in Amsterdam's Leidseplein square, iHostage follows a desperate gunman who storms the bustling store and takes a foreign visitor and several staff members captive while demanding millions in cryptocurrency. As elite police units secure the perimeter and engage in tense, multi-layered negotiations, hidden employees and hostages struggle to survive inside.
