Ishqnama

Set against the India-Pakistan border in the early 1980s and inspired by true events documented in Hind Pak Bordernama, the film chronicles the poignant love story of Nimma, an Indian Sikh student and poet, and Naseema, a young Pakistani Muslim woman. As political tensions, physical borders, and deep-rooted societal barriers threaten to tear them apart, their mutual devotion is tested against fate, showcasing a resilient bond that transcends geopolitical boundaries.
