The film follows two generations within a Punjabi family whose marital bonds are on the brink: Kuku (Varun Dhawan) and Naina (Kiara Advani) are five-years married and now wish to divorce, while Kuku’s father Bheem (Anil Kapoor) is secretly planning to separate from his wife Geeta (Neetu Kapoor) just as the younger sister’s wedding looms. What starts as chaos of expectations, secrets and family traditions becomes a colourful, emotional journey about reconciliation, love and the enduring pull of “parivaar”.
