Kothalavadi

In a poverty-stricken village named Kothalavadi by the banks of the Kaveri river, villagers burdened by debt are lured into illegal sand-mining by a manipulative trader and aided by the local strongman Mohana (Pruthvi Ambaar). When a police officer (Rajesh Nataranga) intervenes and a political rivalry intensifies, the fragile village community spirals into conflict and moral compromise — the film explores the consequences of exploitation, greed and environmental violence in rural Karnataka.
