About Lucknow Central
Kishen Mohan Girhotra, an aspiring small-town singer from Moradabad, is wrongfully convicted of a high-profile murder and sentenced to life imprisonment at the high-security Lucknow Central jail. When an idealistic NGO worker initiates a musical band competition among inmates to foster rehabilitation, Kishen seizes the opportunity and gathers an eclectic group of fellow prisoners to form an orchestra, covertly using rehearsals and stage performances to orchestrate a daring escape while standing up against a tyrannical jailer.
