Malayankunju

Anikkuttan is an ill-tempered electronics technician whose life is defined by bitter memories of his past and a general disdain for his neighbors. His routine existence in the high ranges of Kerala is violently upended when a massive landslide strikes, trapping him forty feet underground. The film follows his harrowing psychological and physical struggle for survival in a claustrophobic, subterranean environment, where the distant cries of a neighbor's newborn baby—which once annoyed him—become his only beacon of hope and a catalyst for his redemption.
