Roy Waller is a high-strung, obsessive-compulsive con artist whose precision-ordered life is built on small-time "matchstick" scams alongside his ambitious partner, Frank. His world is thrown into chaos when he discovers he has a teenage daughter, Angela, who suddenly enters his life and expresses a keen interest in learning the family business. As Roy balances his neurological tics and newfound fatherhood, he agrees to involve Angela in a high-stakes swindle targeting a wealthy businessman. However, the emotional bond between father and daughter begins to threaten his focus, leading to a complex web of deception where the ultimate "con" may be more personal than he ever imagined.
