Sheila discovers a tanning bed in a Manhattan nail salon that doubles as a time machine, allowing her to relive the same perfect first date with a man named Gary over and over again. Initially using the loop to escape her personal struggles and find momentary happiness, Sheila soon becomes obsessed with perfection. She begins traveling further back into Gary's childhood and past to "fix" his traumas and personality traits, unaware that her relentless meddling in his history threatens to destroy the very person she fell in love with and erase their future together.
