My Best Friend's Exorcism

Set in 1988, high school sophomores Abby and Gretchen have been inseparable best friends since childhood. However, after a night of skinny-dipping in a reputedly haunted woods goes terrifyingly wrong, Gretchen begins to exhibit increasingly bizarre and malevolent behavior. While others dismiss her actions as typical teen angst or drug-induced trauma, a determined Abby realizes her friend is actually possessed by a demonic entity. With the help of an overconfident mall-based Christian exorcist, Abby must navigate the social horrors of high school and the literal horrors of the supernatural to save Gretchen’s soul, testing whether the power of their friendship is enough to defeat the devil.
