Nadi Vahate

Set along the foothills of the Western Ghats, Nadi Vahate focuses on the relationship between a river and the villagers living along its banks. As commercial development and encroaching industrial projects threaten their fragile ecosystem, the villagers—led by a young woman named Anagha and her elders—unite in constructive resistance to protect their natural water source. Rather than resorting to conventional melodramatic confrontation, the narrative traces their pragmatic and community-driven struggle to maintain self-sufficiency and foster sustainable coexistence with nature.
