About No One Killed Jessica
Based on the real-life 1999 Jessica Lal murder case, the film follows the aftermath of an event where a young model and bartender, Jessica, is shot dead in an elite New Delhi bistro by an influential politician's son after refusing him a drink post-closing hours. As political muscle and bribery force eyewitnesses to turn hostile in court, leading to the accused's wrongful acquittal, Jessica's reserved sister Sabrina embarks on an arduous legal battle. Joined by Meera Gaity, a fiercely determined and outspoken television journalist, they ignite widespread public outrage and media campaigns that ultimately challenge systemic corruption to secure justice.
