Noise (2024) is a South Korean supernatural horror thriller that centers on Joo-young, a hearing-impaired woman who moves into a new apartment with her sister, Joo-hee. Their hope for a fresh start quickly dissolves into a nightmare when Joo-hee mysteriously vanishes following a series of disturbing, unidentifiable noises emanating from the floors of their building. As Joo-young desperately searches for her sibling with the help of Joo-hee’s boyfriend, she must confront increasingly hostile neighbors and a malevolent presence that thrives within the walls, turning the everyday sounds of apartment living into a visceral auditory terror.
