Once in the Desert is a gritty war action‑drama set against the backdrop of the recently liberated ancient Syrian city of Palmyra, where a specialized War Explosive Ordnance Disposal team is tasked with clearing deadly explosives left by retreating ISIS militants to make way for a symbolic peace concert.
