Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express is a stoner-action comedy in which a process server named Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) visits his marijuana supplier Saul Silver (James Franco) and partakes of a rare strain called “Pineapple Express.” Fate intervenes when Dale witnesses a murder committed by a corrupt police officer and a drug lord, but in his panic he drops a joint of that strain at the crime scene, which can be traced back to him. Now he and Saul must go on the run, evading hitmen, gangsters, and corrupt cops, as they try to stay alive in a wild, weed‑fueled adventure filled with humor, violence, and unlikely camaraderie.
