Playdate

“Playdate” is a wild action-comedy about two very different dads: Brian (Kevin James), a newly unemployed accountant and stay-at-home dad, and Jeff (Alan Ritchson), a charismatic and mysteriously capable fellow father. What begins as a simple afternoon playdate between their sons spirals into chaos when mercenaries ambush them. Brian, utterly unprepared for violence, and Jeff, who seems oddly ready, must survive one absurd obstacle after another — from minivan chases to playground mayhem — forging an unlikely bond in the process as suburban dad life collides with over-the-top action.
