Ram Setu follows Dr Aryan Kulshrestha (Akshay Kumar), a renowned atheist archaeologist who’s asked to investigate the legendary bridge called Ram Setu between India and Sri Lanka, as a new shipping canal project threatens to destroy it. Initially sceptical of myth and faith, Aryan embarks on an underwater expedition alongside scientist Sandra Rebello (Jacqueline Fernandez) and local guide Anjaneya Pushpakumara (Satyadev) to uncover whether the structure is natural or man‑made—and whether the epic tale of Lord Ram’s bridge holds truth. As he digs deeper, Aryan’s beliefs are challenged and he must race against powerful corporate and political forces to save a piece of heritage while confronting science, faith and history.
