Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi

Following the sudden demise of patriarch Ramprasad Bhargava, his sprawling multi-generational family converges at their ancestral home in Lucknow to observe the traditional thirteen-day mourning period known as the tehrvi. Over the course of the rituals, confined quarters give rise to petty rivalries, buried financial anxieties, interpersonal resentments, and self-centered squabbles among the adult children. As the mourning concludes and the family prepares to partition their father's remaining debts, matriarch Amma faces the cold reality of her children's priorities and finds an unexpected path toward personal agency and dignity.
