Ranabaali

Set against the devastating backdrop of the Great Madras Famine of 1876, the narrative chronicles the rise of Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, a fierce warrior who emerges from an oppressed community to protect his starving people. As oppressive colonial economic policies instituted by the British administration aggravate the crisis, Ranabaali—supported by his resilient partner Jayamma—mounts an armed rebellion against the tyrannical colonial officer Sir Theodore Hector, waging an epic battle for survival, justice, and self-determination.
