Role Models

Danny and Wheeler are two energy drink salesmen whose lives are going nowhere until a series of bad decisions leads to a court-ordered community service sentence. To avoid jail time, they are forced to join a "Big Brothers" style mentoring program where they are paired with two eccentric youngsters: a foul-mouthed 10-year-old and a socially awkward teenager obsessed with live-action role-playing (LARP). Despite their initial reluctance and total lack of maturity, the duo must find a way to connect with their mentees, eventually discovering that being a "role model" might be exactly what they need to fix their own stalled lives.
