Shaukat, a formerly acclaimed author struggling with writer's block and a string of literary failures, becomes obsessed with reclaiming his creative genius. In a desperate bid for realism, he encourages his wife, Antara, to conceal her marriage and entertain the romantic advances of her younger colleague, Yash, so Shaukat can document the developing affair for his next novel. However, the psychological experiment spirals out of control as the lines between his fictional manuscript and their actual lives blur, leading Shaukat into a state of delusional jealousy and mental instability as his written words begin to manifest in tragic reality.
