Shagird

Shagird is a gritty action‑crime thriller set in Delhi, centered around two officers of the Crime Branch: the veteran, morally ambiguous senior inspector Hanumant Singh (played by Nana Patekar), and his rookie subordinate Mohit Kumar (Mohit Ahlawat), who arrives with his own sense of justice. When a gangster enters their orbit and a corrupted political‑crime nexus emerges, the juniors’ ideals clash with harsh realities. As kidnapping, drug deals, betrayals and extrajudicial actions unfold, Mohit struggles to reconcile his conscience with the brutal pragmatism of Hanumant’s methods.
