Sharmaji Namkeen follows Brij Gopal Sharma (nicknamed “Sharmaji”), a lively 58‑year‑old widower from Delhi who is suddenly encouraged (or forced) into retirement. Feeling restless and unfulfilled, he struggles with his new idle life. When he unexpectedly gets drawn into a women’s kitty‑party cooking assignment, he discovers a long‑buried passion for cooking, which opens up new friendships, self‑realisation and a chance to redefine his identity beyond his job and father‑role.
