Son of Sardar

Jassi, a peace-loving Sardar living in London, returns to his ancestral village in Punjab to sell a plot of land he has inherited. On his journey, he meets and falls for the vibrant Sukh, only to unwittingly become a guest in the home of her family, headed by Billu Paji. Jassi soon discovers that a violent generational feud exists between their families, and Billu has sworn to kill the last surviving member of Jassi's clan. However, trapped by the strict Punjabi code of "Atithi Devo Bhavah" (the guest is God), Jassi realizes he is safe as long as he stays inside the house. What follows is a hilarious and action-packed game of cat-and-mouse as Jassi uses every trick in the book to avoid stepping outside, while the vengeful family waits for the moment he exits to fulfill their vow.
