Stolen Girl

Set in 1993 in Ohio, the story follows Maureen, whose six-year-old daughter Amina is secretly snuck out of the country by her ex-husband, Karim. After years of unsuccessful attempts to find her child on her own, Maureen crosses paths with a professional retriever of internationally abducted children who offers to help locate Amina in exchange for her cooperation. This leads her on a high-stakes journey to Beirut, where she ultimately tracks down her ex-husband and daughter and must face the most difficult decision of her life.
