About Tanu Weds Manu Returns
Four years into their turbulent marriage in London, Tanu and Manu's relationship falls apart during a marriage counseling session, causing Manu to be institutionalized and a bitter Tanu to return to her hometown of Kanpur. After being rescued by his loyal friend Pappi, Manu returns to India to seek a divorce and unexpectedly meets Kusum "Datto" Sangwan, a straightforward, spirited Delhi University athlete who is an uncanny lookalike of Tanu. As Manu decides to marry Datto, emotional jealousies and unresolved feelings trigger absolute chaos across families and past suitors, pushing both Tanu and Manu to confront where their true affections actually lie.
