The Exorcism of Emily Rose

The Exorcism of Emily Rose follows ambitious lawyer Erin Bruner (Laura Linney) who takes on the defence of Father Richard Moore (Tom Wilkinson), a priest charged with negligent homicide after a deadly exorcism on a young college student named Emily Rose (Jennifer Carpenter). As the courtroom drama unfolds, flashbacks reveal Emily’s terrifying symptoms—visions, convulsions, and what appears to be demonic possession.
