The Girl on the Train

Mira Kapoor, an alcoholic and grieving former lawyer struggling with anterograde amnesia after a devastating car crash and divorce, spends her daily London train commute fixated on a seemingly perfect woman and her husband whom she observes from afar. When she witnesses an unsettling scene and later wakes up bruised, covered in blood, and with no memory of the previous night, Mira discovers that the woman, Nusrat, has been murdered and that she has become the prime suspect. Desperate to clear her name, Mira is forced to unravel her own fractured memories, unearthing a tangled web of domestic abuse, gaslighting, and betrayal to reveal the true killer.
