The Lake

A young girl discovers a mysterious egg by the lake in the northern Thai province of Bueng Kan, and unwittingly triggers the rise of a massive monster emerging from the depths of the Mekong River. As the creature begins to unleash destruction and cut the town off from the outside world, local citizens, officials and scientists must band together to confront the rampaging threat before it obliterates everything in its path.
