In 1942, at the height of the Third Reich's power, the Czech resistance in London initiates its most daring and ambitious military operation of World War II, known as Operation Anthropoid. Two young recruits, Jozef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš, are parachuted into occupied Prague with a singular, perilous mission: to assassinate Reinhard Heydrich. As the head of the SS and the Gestapo, and the primary architect of the "Final Solution," Heydrich is the most ruthless Nazi leader in the territory. The film portrays his meteoric and chilling rise through the Nazi ranks alongside his wife, Lina, contrasted with the immense bravery of the resistance fighters who risk everything to strike a blow against the heart of the Nazi regime.
