The Road to El Dorado

The Road to El Dorado is a 2000 animated musical-adventure comedy from DreamWorks. Set in 16th-century Spain and the New World, it follows the misadventures of two charming con artists, Tulio and Miguel (voiced by Kevin Kline and Kenneth Branagh), who win a map leading to the legendary city of gold, El Dorado. They journey across the ocean, only to be mistaken as gods by the inhabitants when they arrive. Alongside the feisty native woman Chel (Rosie Perez), they navigate tribal politics, a scheming high priest, and Spanish conquistadors, ultimately deciding that friendship and integrity matter more than riches.
