In this psychological horror-thriller, a former judge, Stefan Mortensen (Geoffrey Rush), suffers a debilitating stroke and is confined to a secluded rest home. There, he encounters Dave Crealy (John Lithgow), an elderly resident who wields a child's puppet named Jenny Pen to manipulate and terrorize fellow residents. As Mortensen becomes aware of Crealy's sinister actions, he takes matters into his own hands to stop the abuse, leading to a chilling confrontation.
