The Star

The Star tells the story of a small but brave donkey named Bo, who dreams of a life beyond his daily grind at a village mill. When Bo escapes, he befriends a sheep (Ruth) who has lost her flock, and a dove (Dave) with lofty ambitions. Along with some eccentric stable animals and a trio of camels, they chase a mysterious star — unwittingly becoming the unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told: the birth of Jesus. Through adventures and humor seen from the animals’ perspective, the film offers a feel-good, faith-based retelling of the Nativity, blending comedy, adventure and heartwarming messages.
