The Toxic Avenger

Winston Gooze is a downtrodden janitor working for a corrupt pharmaceutical company who is diagnosed with a terminal illness that his employer refuses to cover. In a desperate attempt to rob the company to pay for his treatment, he falls into a vat of toxic waste, transforming into a hideously deformed mutant with superhuman strength. Reborn as "The Toxic Avenger," Winston must navigate his new existence as a vigilante to protect his stepson, Wade, while taking down the ruthless corporate overlord Bob Garbinger. The film is a gory, satirical reimagining of the 1984 Troma cult classic, blending over-the-top practical effects with a dark, modern superhero origin story.
