Vaapsi

Vaapsi is a Punjabi drama film that tells the poignant story of Ajit Singh, a talented young hockey player whose life is torn apart during the political unrest in Punjab following the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Forced to flee to a foreign land to escape persecution, Ajit builds a new life in exile but remains haunted by memories of his past and his homeland. Years later, when his ailing mother calls him back, he faces the emotional and psychological dilemma of returning to a place filled with both pain and belonging.
